Stories that Heal. Advocacy that Connects. Work that Matters.

"Words have power. They can lift us or tear us down, validate our experiences or erase them."

ABOUT
Nikki K. Lopez is a Jamaican-born writer, caregiver advocate, and entrepreneur based in California. Her work lives at the intersection of storytelling, service, and social impact.

She writes from real life, moments shaped by caregiving, identity, grief, love, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. Whether through her books, her senior care agency, or her nonprofit supporting family caregivers, Nikki’s mission is simple: to help people feel seen, supported, and less alone.

Nikki has authored multiple works, each rooted in lived experience and offered with heart. Her voice is honest, unfiltered, and deeply committed to honoring the untold stories that deserve space.

Outside of writing, Nikki is married, has two adult children, enjoys traveling, brunching, volunteering, and spending time with her grandmother, who continues to be one of her greatest inspirations.

Nicola, just finished it. I feel this book can be for all women! Be our authentic selves, set our boundaries, and more. I feel this short book could be good for all women. I belong to a group on Facebook called My Racial Journey, I am going to recommend this book to that group. We meet every Thursday night. Anyway, we talk about intersections Black and Women and White and Women. Most of us are white that meet but we are all on a journey to learn in a loving space. Thank you for sharing your book and journey. My niece just came out 2 years ago. I am going to share this book with her and her gf. 💙

At 25, I am still figuring out the world and my place in it, and this book opened my eyes. Lesbian: Who Are You? gave me a deeper understanding of identities I do not live but deeply respect. The stories were raw, real, and powerful. I walked away with more empathy, more knowledge, and a reminder that everyone’s journey deserves to be heard.
